Twins’ star catcher Joe Mauer and his wife Maddie are expecting twins.

Joe Mauer was a senior in high school, six weeks away from being drafted number one overall by the Twins.

Scott Diamond of the Twins Suspended 6 Games
and fined an undisclosed amount for throwing at Josh Hamilton, “near the head area.” The throw was in the 3rd inning of yesterday’s game and apparently in retribution for Roy Oswalt’s plunking of Joe Mauer.
Diamond is appealing.
As of now there is no discipline for Roy Oswalt.
